About Us – The Noemi Eska Story: Artur and Naomi

As creators of emotive, fine fingerprint jewellery we wanted to share a little bit about who we are and how we arrived at Noémi Eśka.

Artur and I met nine years ago. We both worked for the same firm although in different departments. I would see him each day as he walked past my office on his way to and from the car park. Unbeknownst to me at the time, he had already decided I was ‘the one’, even before we were properly introduced. He told a friend he’d marry me one day. As luck would have it, we both ended up working on the same project, and I knew in an instant. He was the one for me too. He proposed six months later, and we haven’t looked back since.

We are very grateful to have found one another and love working together, even now, as a husband and wife team running a business. In much the same way, creating meaningful keepsakes is forged from that love. Being a Piscean, I’m all about being creative and intuitive. I used to work in Digital Design. Whilst that satisfied the creative side in me, I felt I needed something a bit more tangible and rewarding in my work. I came across a tutorial on Pinterest on how to make a silver stacking ring. It looked straightforward, so I got myself some tools and set to it. My first attempt didn’t go so well, but I knew I had to carry on and so dived deeper into more online tutorials. Eventually, after a lot of research and training, I became adept at handmaking organic-feel jewellery. I realised I had found my own unique style.

Our fingerprint jewellery has a certain ‘ancient times’ aesthetic. Each piece is unique as it is a fingerprint, but also being handcrafted they’re entirely bespoke and one of a kind. I’ve never wanted to create ‘mass-produced’ type jewellery. Rather, unique designs that lend themselves to resonate on a deeper level. Personalised jewellery is intrinsically special, and I feel honoured to be able to create pieces that are so much more than just beautiful items. The meaning behind each piece is the true gift as each one holds a story of its own.

I often find inspiration strikes when I’m getting ready to sleep, and so to help me with ideas I keep a sketchbook on my bedside table. If I were to start over again, I’d probably try my hand with a less expensive metal than Sterling Silver. I’ve loved the process as each step has led me to here. I wouldn’t change that for anything.

As our brand evolves, we will be expanding our precious metal from yellow gold to include rose gold and white gold. Also, we are excited to announce the launch of a brand new collection. We are expanding our range to include rings and cufflinks, available in Sterling Silver and Solid 9ct Yellow Gold. I can’t wait to see what you lovelies think!

To include furry friends, we have a paw-print design option. We understand how pets are just as loved and are integral in our lives. We have two dogs ourselves who we cherish: Pin and Fox. Fox has even featured on our Instagram page (Link: https://www.instagram.com/noemieska/?hl=en). She lends us her paws for the paw print designs; she’s such a cutie.

These have been challenging times as we all have had to navigate through Covid. Thankfully our studio is in-house, so we haven’t been too adversely affected. We help to keep our customers safe by disinfecting every piece before despatch and keep our production spotless.
